Living With The End In Mind
At 33, life was going great. She was at the height of her career, had a loving husband and a girl just over two years old. All these was soon to be lost when the doctor told her she had breast cancer. Her emotion roller coasted from depths of despair to frenzy panic to cool logic ..
However, for each moment of panic attacks, she consistently chose to draw her life the way she willed it. She battled but she remain focused. She chose to leave behind a legacy for a) her daughter and b) billions of woman like herself. She made tapes and recorded a lifetime of advice and messages that her daughter would need for the rest of her life until her wedding day. She wrote letters and prepared gifts for her daughter’s birthdays and Christmases. She conveyed and assured her daughter that she is so loved and privileged and that love will sustain her more than anything.
A lady authored this book with her husband “Living with the End in Mind” to inspire woman like herself. And her wish was fulfilled when she went on the air with Oprah Winfrey. She lived life fulfillingly despite her cancer stricken body and at 36 years old, she died at 4 a.m. on Oct. 31, 1998.Although she lost her battle against cancer, Erin Kramp’s legacy lived forever.
